GoodSmile Company English…finally!

Yes, I know what you’re going to say:

“Len!  Everyone and their otaku grandmothers have already posted about this, jeez!”

To which I say:

“URUCHAI!  This is something that deserves being spread!”

Chances are, since most of my readers are dannychoo.com redirected, and also are part of the blogroll circle with the same ties that this was already seen on different blogs like, a dozen times.  Still, for me, seeing this has a sort of special significance.

I’ve been collecting figures for roughly six years… maybe more.   My first figure was of my first anime-girl heartthrob from a long time ago, namely Morino Ichigo from the Max Factory Studio.  Since then, I was hooked.

Out of my collection, 80% of my figures are Goodsmile, 15% are Craftmanship Kotobukiya, and the rest are ‘other’.  So having the ability, FINALLY, to read and interact with an english site for Goodsmile makes me not only smile, but smile good.  So in other words.  Len-Vesper is extremely happy to see an english site for this studio.  I only wish I could have had a bigger hand in working, since http://www.dannychoo.com had requested translators for the project a while back.  Sadly, while I have an ‘ok’ handle on Japanese, my skills are far removed compared to the people that applied.   The best I could have hoped to do is edit or de-engrish stuff, but eh, who knows.

I love their work.  I love their figures.  I love their accessories.  Thank you Dannychoo for creating the Mirai Gaia platform that it runs on, and thank you Goodsmile for opening up the doors to all the Gaijin-Otaku that can’t (or are still learning to) read Japanese.

Congratulations on a no-doubt successful opening!

Omedeto~

I was quite happy to hear about it as well, now I don’t have to read horrible engrish translations from babelfish like “of the mud which is the figure can be is of the mud special”

hah, it does seem that many blogs were once seeds that fell from a tree called Dannychoo.com. Mine certainly is, oh wait no I actually decided to start my insignificant blog due to finetoo.org ^.^

btw does fuwa have a meaning?

@ Eddie :
I’m more than happy to hear I inspired you, Eddie. That means much to hear that, thank you very much for the compliment!

It does indeed have a meaning, this ‘fuwa fuwa’:
