The Little Devil in Stockings…

Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière
wow that’s a mouthfull…
Little Devil Ver.
“Muri.”
It was Louise’s favourite way to put a rather acute speed bump in a coversation. She was small in stature but she had this viciously defiant look in her eyes all the time, like she was always on the defensive. She could be so demure if she wanted to be but I suppose she felt she needed to prove something. Whatever I was in the process of thinking of gets interrupted again as she lifts her leg, “It’s useless for you to fight against this. You’ll just have to learn to do it right.” She was referring to the stocking… somewhere along the way Saito must have gone for a vacation… or maybe he went to the winter palace with Henrietta for a little rest as a reward for his valiant fight against Tristain’s enemies.
Whatever the case was… dealing with her was a handfull…
“It’s not on right. Heel has to fit in and the line goes up the side of the leg. Understand?” A tap atop the head from that crop serves as some sort of light repimand. I can’t shake the feeling I’m the ‘uke’ in this crazy arrangement, but at least she’s not giving full out swats… so I start again. She didn’t seem as aggressive as she was with Saito, I guess that’s how I know she liked him so much, and somewhere along the way I even get a compliment, “… mn … at least you pay attention when you do things. You’ll be an adequate replacement for now.”
I mumble “Thanks” under my breath, the ‘I guess’ that should go along the end of that was implied. She knew that and I knew that, then again, that’s what I get for losing a bet with Kirche and Montmonrency, five more days of this… this is only the first morning. It could be worse, Louise was cute when she wanted to be… she was intelligent if brash. And I get to know the color and cut of her panties - I could sell that later.
Discreetly of course.

Her name has more syllables than I have fingers, she’s possibly among the most acute levels of tsundere that a tsundereko can ever achieve, she’s Louise from Zero no Tsukaima, and she’s here in her nightie and panties and stockings and frilly pink hair! Another lovely Craftmanship Kotobukiya figurine scaled at 1/6. She’s shown here wearing something seen in the manga and artbooks more than the series, so unless you also follow the paper-form of Zero no Tsukaima you may not recognize the outfit!

I actually didn’t even pre-order this figure. When I was looking at the preview pictures from my usual slew of hobby sites, the figure didn’t really stand out at all, but this is one of those cases where first impressions are not always to be trusted. This particular figure has Louise sitting down on a little ottoman-like stool, ball of one foot on ground other leg up, as you can see. It’s not the most dynamic of poses but it’s part of the bigger picture - one element among many that makes this figure quite nice.
The entire camisole is made of translucent PVC, meaning it’s partially see-through, giving the illusion of an actual negligee. Props come with her trademark riding crop (for whipping Saito), as well as the stool itself, which has a soft groove in it to have Louise seat snug in. The real kicker though are the stockings. Yes, the stockings are props. Each stocking is made of fabric and can be slipped on and off as you see fit, in various heights along the leg, left to drape over a foot, and all that lovely stuff.
The shots today were all taken with the 18-55mm EFS lens using the Digital Rebel XTi. Set up was kind of simple, used only one full spectrum light (still don’t have my second one), and this time I took advice from one of Super_Rats’ tutorials and created a light softening filter. The effect was quite nice, however, I now know what Super_Rats meant when he was talking about Kotobukiya figures having a strange and shiny glare to the fleshtone. Louise does indeed suffer from that in this case, making the photo shoots frustrating until I understood how to get light to not flash out too much.

Seems my poor character has been replaced! Somehow Louise must have summoned Etna and cropped her into captitulation… then again Etna does have stockings too… so I suppose she’ll do a better job putting the stockings on than my poor incarnation ever could! Have to be careful with Louise, it must be done right, or you get a nice crack from that crop she loves to weild, though of course, any Otaku knows how tsundere-physics works. ( ‘-’)/
I have to admit that having the fabric-stockings is a moe-point for the figure. Being able to set your own zettai ryoiki ratios on her is strangely fun!
As with pretty much all the Kotobukiya figures I’ve seen, the attention to detail is top notch, from the nice soft waves of her hair…

…to the frills of the negligee, the panties, the grip on the crop and even the snug bow at her midriff!
TRES BIEN~~~!!!!

(Character) Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière
- Cast Quality Rating:

- Good casting, not excellent. Outfit design is great, good props, awesome stocking idea… however uber-glossed skin and completely visible line on head marr and otherwise very nice figure. Slight dent on hair on each side of head, thought it was a unique issue but a friend’s figure has same mark - production defect.
- Pose & Appearance Rating:

- I like it. Face is quite cute, eyes are expressive. Having adjustable zettai ryoiki stockings is a plus, and a plus to that plus (plusplus? plus^2) is that it lines up for a ‘lucky GET!’ panty shot, as well!
- Moe & Ero Factor Rating:

- Translucent nightie, pansu, stockings, and a riding crop. Sounds like an ‘uke’s’ wet dream. Louise’s open mouth just seems to be ready to shout out ‘baka inu’, too!
- Overall Rating:

- Good figure, not the best I’ve seen from Kotobukiya, but it has its own merits.

Hello there, Aya! Welcome to me blog!
I can confirm that the clothing is actually translucent, the color is actually a really dark and hazy purple, and does obscure her actual body from sight, but it’s seethrough pvc. And thank you for the comments on the pics!
i had one of this, awesome AWESOME figure! btw, did you know that you can remove her clothes? i just saw that it has a gap that can be used to remove her upper clothes (but i dont know how), and some website had pictures of her without any clothes at all, only with panty.
Wh…whoa, it IS a cast off! I never noticed but I can actually take off all her clothes down to DFC D:
Thank you for bringing this to my attention! :D

Lovely pics~
I was always wondering if her clothes were actually see through, or painted in a way to look like it was (such as Kaiyodo’s Himekuri).
The socks are a nice touch too, the photo of it on the stool with the riding crop is great XD
