Saturday’s Cosplay Picks!

Wow it’s been a while since I had time to myself to sort through these pics and sit down with some friends and pick and choose the top tier of Saturday’s shoots. Again there was some seriously cool costumes and I was lucky enough to catch full groups in between panels and concert this day. It was an uber busy day and night for me so there weren’t as many go-shots as I would have liked, really will have to be more assertive about requesting photo shoot sets next year. It will be easier when I have my business cards and such, too! Today was the day of groups and pairs, as you’ll see I have quite a few, from Team Fortress, to Code Geass and a handful of others!

So on with Saturday’s pics and the top 20 selections!

This is one of my favourite two of the day, not only because the costumes and peeps look great, but because their C.C. is quite awesome! Bonus points for Lelouch-player’s ‘take my hand and join the rebellion’ pose! The wigs on C.C. and Euphemia are nice as well! Well done!

Second top pick for Saturday is this Misa-player! Not only was she very polite and cool to deal with, she took the MisaMisa style and ran with it, successfully creating an outfit she’d definately wear. Plus the hair was so cute, too! I speak honestly! It’s not like she’s threatening to pen my name in that book of hers! Honest! O_O I actually like the light effect that happened on the picture. It was unintended but sometimes that what makes things just right.

Now, I picked two top-notches from Friday and Saturday. I’ll be selecting a best male, and best female costume (as decided by myself and a handful of friends down here after spending a weekend going through all the pics and marvelling at all of them), and posting them up soon. It’s a silly thing, I know, but I think good cosplay should go noticed even if it’s just by myself and my readers!

Glad you liked it, there will be a final post coming up soon for cosplayers. That one will be a special shout-out to friends and what I thought to be the two most awesome costumes of the set.
