There are people out there that obsess over games. There are people out there that can’t stand to be separated from their computers. Many people sort of lump gamers into a single pile of biological compost assuming that most of them are incapable of creativity or anything outside of games. That’s the impression I get when you see the debates going on in magazines and TV and other media outlets. Gamers are demonized, we know this.
Every now and then, something emerges from the community. Generousity, creativity, even art itself inspired by the community. Even something cultural or quasi-occidental, or something mysterious and beautiful given a all too modern shape. Origami is a versatile art. It’s complex, intricate, and can stimulate senses on a level beyond a painting despite its overall simple end look.
Now, I don’t know what the source of these pictures are, and if they’re traced back I will cite source without any issue… but I found these on an image vault. Timestamp of the photos dates this early 2007… here we go…
